The Community Service (PKM) team from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Yarsi, conducted a seminar for students of SMAN 10 Bekasi on February 22, 2024, focusing on air pollution control. The event aimed to raise awareness among the younger generation about the importance of maintaining air quality as part of environmental protection efforts. In recent years, the decline in air quality has highlighted the urgent need to reduce emissions, and students, as active members of society, play a crucial role in this effort.
The seminar covered topics related to air pollution control, followed by discussions and a pre- and post-test to assess understanding. This initiative aligns with the SDGs, particularly Goal 13 (Climate Action), which promotes efforts to combat air pollution, and Goal 15 (Life on Land), which supports the protection and sustainable management of healthy environments. The program’s success was made possible through the collaboration of FHUY’s community service team, the foundation, and Universitas Yarsi students.
