Universitas Yarsi, through its Community Service (PKM) team, has successfully enhanced the understanding of the residents of Kadumaneuh Village, Pandeglang, Banten, regarding the importance of land registration. The event, held on Friday, February 23, 2024, aimed to provide legal education on agrarian law, particularly land registration, to raise public awareness about obtaining land certificates. This initiative also supports the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program by the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) to accelerate asset legalization and minimize the potential for land disputes.
With land certificates, residents can also more easily utilize their land for economic purposes. This program aligns with the SDGs, particularly Goal 16 (Promoting access to justice and reducing inequalities), which emphasizes the importance of a secure and transparent land system to create legal order, and Goal 15 (Life on land), which encourages the sustainable and legal use of land as an economic resource. The success of this program was made possible through collaboration between Universitas Yarsi, the Yarsi Foundation, and the local community.
