Campus food waste tracking
YARSI University has a program to separate organic and organic waste. The separation starts inside the campus building by placing separate trash bins between organic and inorganic. Trash cans are placed strategically, such as in front of the elevator. The separated inorganic trash is then transported to a temporary shelter on campus to be re-separated into waste that may be reused, and that cannot be reused (reuse). Garbage collectors will be offered recyclable waste for purchase. Organic waste and waste that cannot be reused are transported by an outside party (vendor company Ganda Mady Indotama), which has a waste management agreement with YARSI University. The waste is then transported to the final landfill. The average weight of waste generated from YARSI University campus activities is 142.85 kg/day.
