Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi (FKG) Universitas Yarsi berulang tahun ke-10 , salah syukurannya mengadakan YASMIN (Yarsi Scientific Meeting and Exhibition ) dilaksanakan 15-17 September 2022. Dalam event ini digelar seminar menghadirkan pembicara luar negeri dan dalam negeri, pameran alat-alat kedokteran gigi dan pameran lukisan karya Dekan FKG Universitas Yarsi, Prof. Dr. Bambang S Trenggono, drg., M.Biomed
Prof. Bambang mengatakan, FKG Yarsi memang masih muda, baru 10 tahun berdiri, tentunya masih butuh proses , kematangan dalam melayani. Tentunya atas kepercayaan dari masyarakat. FKG Yarsi akan selalu meningkatkan kinerja dan kualitas akademi .
Fasilitas belajar FKG Yarsi lengkap dan berkualitas.Mempunyai Rumah Sakit Gigi Mulut. Yarsi dengan akreditasi paripurna , bintang lima serta telah ditetapkan sebagai rumah sakit.pendidikan.
Alhamdulillah FKG Yarsi bisa menggelar YASMIN baru pertama kali. Peserta ditargetkan 300 ternyata mendaftar peserta 600 dokter gigi se Indonesia. “ kegiatan ini Insya Allah akan diadakan setiap tahun,” seru Dekan FKG Yarsi
Selanjutnya Prof Bambang punya hobi melukis menjelaskan YASMIN digelar bertujuan membangun silaturahim dokter gigi seluruh Indonesia karena dua tahun lebih tidak berjumpa dan sekaligus menambah pengetahuan terkini terkait perkembangan kedokteran gigi.
Dalam Seminar YASMIN ditampilkan pembicara 2 dari Amerika dan 1 dari Singapura dan lainnya dari Indonesia
Sementara ulang tahun kesepuluh FKG Yarsi mengangkat tema creativity, innovation and collaboration. Lewat tema ini diharapkan FKG Yarsi cepat lebih baik.
Melalui creativity semoga makin banyak karya-karya dihasilkan, termasuk dari lulusan kompeten, berikut juga aneka wujud karyanya.
Sementara innovation atau reka baru dapat menghasilkan pengembangan , mobilisasi pengetahuan, keterampilan menciptakan, memperbaiki proses(produk) semuanya memberi nilai berarti(signifikan), menciptakan kemudahan di FKG.
Sedangkan collaboration mencapai tujuan dengan bekerjasama, saling bahu-membahu.mencapai target. Sukses tidak bisa dilakukan sendiri. “Sekarang FKG menjalin kerjasama diluar, lewat pameran-pameran peserta industri (dunia usaha dunia industri),”tutur Dekan FKG Yarsi
Sementara ketua panitia ulang tahun Satu Dekade FKG Yarsi , Drg.Agus Ardinansyah,M.Pd.Ked menambahkan, dalam seminar YASMIN diulas terkait bedah mulut, bagaimana langkah langkah tehnik pencabutan dengan aman dan tidak sakit.
Kemudian deteksi dini kanker rongga mulut, konservasi dan endo berupa perawatan saluran akar gigi/saraf gigi dengan tehnik dan teknologi terbaru.
Kini banyak hadir dokter gigi baru yang terdampak pandemi pada saat proses koas, sehingga dengan adanya seminar dan workshop dalam YASMIN skala internasional diharapkan akan meningkatkan tingkakan kepercayaan diri serta mendapatkan update tips dan trik dari tehnik pencabutan gigi Seminar YASMIN bisa disebut seminar pertama kali skala internasional,”ujarnya
Dalam YASMIN digelar pula lomba lomba scientific untuk kompetisi dokter-dokter gigi muda tiga kategori penelitian,studi kasus dan literatur review dilakukan oral presentasi menerapkan protokol Kesehatan. Kemudian kompetisi para mahasiswa kedokteran gigi kategori foster
Adapun juri kompetisi berasal dari Dekan FKG Universitas Padjadjaran Bandung, Dr.Dudi Arifin,drg.,Sp.KG(K), Dekan FKG Yarsi dan Profesional dunia usaha.
