Jakarta, March 21, 2025 – The Faculty of Psychology of YARSI University held Iftarchology 2025, a breakfasting event for the entire academic community of the Faculty of Psychology of YARSI University. This event carried the theme “Gather to Share and Strengthen Bonds in the Holy Month of Ramadan” and was held on Friday at the Jami YARSI Mosque. This activity is also open to local residents and other mosque worshipers, thus further expanding the reach of the benefits of this event for the community.
One of the series of events in this activity was a talk show session with Afina Iffah Izzaturrahmah, a student of the Faculty of Psychology class of 2024. In addition, there is also a Juz 30 recitation session together, which aims to deepen participants’ understanding of the Qur’an, foster a love of Islamic values, and create a more solemn and blessed atmosphere in this event.
This activity also supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular:
SDG 2: Zero Hunger – by providing iftar meals to participants, including neighborhood residents and mosque congregants, thereby contributing to ensuring access to nutritious food for the community and supporting community togetherness.
SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being – by creating a positive social environment, strengthening relationships between community members, and supporting mental and emotional well-being through meaningful interactions.
SDG 4: Quality Education – by providing space for students to share knowledge, discuss religious values, and develop public speaking and leadership skills.
SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities – by involving local residents and mosque congregations in this activity, this event also supports the development of a more inclusive, harmonious community, and strengthens social interaction in the neighborhood.
The Faculty of Psychology of YARSI University appreciates all parties who have contributed to organizing this event. It is hoped that similar activities can continue to be carried out to strengthen solidarity and a sense of kinship in the academic environment.
