The Law Program (Ilmu Hukum) at Universitas YARSI has received valuable support from the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Dirjen Diktiristek, Kemendikbudristek) to pursue international accreditation in 2023. This accreditation will be obtained through the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA). Dr. Liza Evita, Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Law, shared that this international status symbolizes the high quality of FHUY’s program, increasing public confidence in YARSI as a top choice for legal studies.
Dr. Liza noted that this facilitation will confirm that FHUY’s human resources, education systems, and quality assurance measures meet international standards. Preparing for this includes compiling self-evaluation documents for submission to FIBAA and enhancing English proficiency among students, faculty, and alums—especially in speaking skills.
FHUY is committed to attaining an “A” accreditation rating, an upgrade from its current “B,” through international recognition. Dr. Liza encourages students to diligently complete their coursework, as excellence in academic performance will empower them to contribute positively to society.
For prospective students, Dr. Liza advises readiness to adapt to the independence required in university life. FHUY’s law program offers an academic environment rooted in Islamic values, with 33 years of experience producing law graduates who demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and strong character. The campus provides exceptional facilities, including a Computer-Based Test (CBT) center, a mock courtroom, and an integrated legal design lab to support practical learning.
