Group 44 from the Faculty of Management at YARSI University conducted their Community Service Program (KKN) in Sunter Agung Sub-district, focusing on two main issues: the lack of community understanding regarding domestic violence (KDRT) and child reproductive health. This program aimed to address these knowledge gaps through a series of educational activities targeted at residents, particularly mothers and children in the area.
The KKN activities consisted of several important stages, beginning with socialization that introduced topics related to domestic violence and child reproductive health to the community. The next stage was counseling, where participants were provided with in-depth and practical information on these issues. The program also included training designed to enhance participants’ skills and knowledge in handling and preventing domestic violence, as well as better understanding aspects of child reproductive health. Additionally, mentoring was provided to ensure that the knowledge gained could be effectively applied in daily life.
Throughout the implementation of the activities, the enthusiasm and active participation of the community demonstrated that the program was well-received and successfully achieved its objectives. This success not only increased community understanding of domestic violence and child reproductive health but also contributed to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4: Quality Education, and SDG 5: Gender Equality.
