Event Description
July 2023 marked a historic milestone for Universitas YARSI, as four of its programs received support for international accreditation facilitation. The programs are Psychology, Law, Library and Information Science, and the Master’s Program in Notary Law (MKn). This support, granted by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Dirjen Diktiristek, Kemendikbudristek), aims to guide these programs towards achieving accreditation from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA).
This significant development represents Universitas YARSI’s ongoing commitment to improving its educational standards and obtaining international recognition. Dr. Rifqatussa’adah, Director of PDJAMA, emphasized that the facilitation support follows extensive preparations to meet the FIBAA accreditation standards, including preparing the necessary documentation and ensuring the fulfillment of all criteria. The university is working to ensure that the quality of education aligns with global standards, particularly in the social sciences, law, and notary fields.
For the Faculty of Psychology, this facilitation will enhance its ability to produce graduates that meet both national and international standards. Dr. Miwa Patnani highlighted the continuous efforts to improve the quality of education, while Dr. Liza Evita from the Faculty of Law shared that this accreditation support would help ensure the university’s systems are in line with global recognition. Similarly, Dr. Chandra Yusuf stated that the MKn program is preparing the required documents and improving its delivery in English to meet the FIBAA standards.
Opportunities for New Students
In line with this progress, Universitas YARSI is now accepting new students for these accredited programs. Students will have the opportunity to study in programs with high international standards and gain recognition in the global academic and professional communities.
