Group 15 from the Faculty of Management at Yarsi University conducted a Community Service Program (KKN) from October 30 to December 30, 2023, titled “Promoting Healthy Aging to Improve Elderly Health and Quality of Life in Kebon Bawang Village.” The program was designed to address the primary issue faced by the elderly in Kebon Bawang Village, which is the inadequate quality of life. Based on initial assessments, the program aimed to make a significant contribution to enhancing the quality of life for the elderly and tackling various health challenges they encounter.
Throughout the KKN period, the group successfully increased the elderly’s health knowledge and improved their health profiles through activities such as health education, routine health screenings, and wellness promotion programs. This initiative contributed to achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 on health and well-being. However, to ensure the program’s sustainability and long-term impact, continuous monitoring and support from various stakeholders, including local government, health organizations, and the community, are essential.
