YARSI Save Vision collaborates with the Indonesian Ophthalmologist Association (PERDAMI) Bekasi and Eka Hospital Bekasi. This collaboration aims to create a Cataract Surgery Social Service program. This program aims to provide free cataract surgery for people in need. This program was successfully implemented on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 which took place at Eka Hospital Bekasi. It is hoped that this program can provide quality medical care for those with limited resources. Through this initiative, cataract patients can regain clear vision, so that they can improve their quality of life and regain their independence.
This is made possible by the dedication of medical professionals, volunteers and partner organizations who work together to ensure the surgery process runs smoothly and effectively. This program is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing) by reducing blindness, SDG 10 (Reducing Inequalities) by providing equal healthcare opportunities, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening collaboration between health institutions.
By restoring sight, this initiative aims to create a healthier and more inclusive society. Together, let’s bring light and hope to those in need!
