Universitas YARSI successfully conducted an English conversation class from September 5 to November 25, 2022. This program aimed to enhance the English communication skills of administrative staff as part of the university’s preparation for international accreditation. The training was held at Universitas YARSI and involved participants from all faculties and work units within the university.
The initiative, categorized as an international activity promoting cultural exchange, was designed to improve participants’ confidence and competence in using English for professional interactions. The training sessions were led by postgraduate staff with master’s degrees in English literature and members of Universitas YARSI’s International Affairs Office.
The program provided engaging lessons focusing on practical English usage, such as self-introductions, describing tasks, and responding to workplace scenarios. Activities included presentations, group exercises, and listening practice with songs to make learning enjoyable and effective.
