As part of their Community Service Program (KKN) in Pademangan Timur, YARSI University students of group 22 conducted three key activities from November to December 2023, aimed at supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and enhancing the community’s well-being.
The first activity focused on educating local leaders and parents on preventing youth involvement in free sex, aligning with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being. The second initiative provided guidance to parents on preventing child marriage to combat domestic violence, supporting SDG 5: Gender Equality and SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. The final activity involved teaching the local PKK group about online product marketing using platforms like Shopee and Tokopedia, contributing to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
These efforts were well-received, with participants gaining valuable knowledge and understanding its practical application. Through this KKN project, YARSI University students effectively applied their academic skills while contributing to sustainable community development.
