Group 10 from the Faculty of Management at Yarsi University conducted a Community Service Program (KKN) from November 1 to December 31, 2023, titled “Preventing Stunting in Toddlers in Marunda Village.” This program was developed in response to the identified stunting issues in the area, based on a thorough situational analysis. The activities included data collection on stunted toddlers at the Posyandu in Marunda Village RW 2, as well as various educational and training programs. Education on stunting prevention and nutrition was provided specifically to pregnant women experiencing anemia, while training on initial business management was conducted using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) to support local economic development. Additionally, oral health education was provided to ensure a more holistic approach to the health of both toddlers and pregnant women.
The initial findings revealed a lack of community understanding regarding stunting prevention and maternal nutrition as priority issues. Therefore, the program’s main focus was on enhancing community knowledge about stunting prevention and addressing anemia in pregnant women. This initiative aims to make a significant contribution to combating stunting, aligning with SDG 3 on health and well-being.
