Nurturing Health and Potential: YARSI Law Students’ KKN Program in Koja Sub-district

Group 6 from the Faculty of Law at YARSI University conducted their Community Service Program (KKN) in Koja Sub-district, Koja District, North Jakarta Administrative City, an area with a sizeable population and diverse challenges. This initiative aimed to address several key issues identified in Koja Sub-district, including health, education, and community welfare concerns.

The KKN program implemented by this group encompassed several crucial components. Firstly, they organized various community activities targeted at children and adolescents in Koja Sub-district. These activities included educational and recreational programs designed to develop the skills, knowledge, and interests of the participants. Secondly, Group 6 conducted health awareness sessions and nutrition education, aimed at increasing community awareness about the importance of healthy eating habits and good health practices.

This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-being. The focus on health awareness and nutrition education demonstrates the group’s commitment to improving the health conditions and well-being of children and adolescents in Koja Sub-district. By implementing activities that support community health and welfare, Group 6 hopes to create a lasting positive impact and contribute to efforts to enhance the quality of life in the area.
