SDGs Yarsi’s Participation in the Bappenas Event Promoting the Green Industry and Circular Economy at SAC 2024.

The YARSI Center for SDGs and Population demonstrated its pivotal role in advancing sustainable development through its participation in the SDGs Annual Conference (SAC) 2024 on October 7-8, 2024, in Jakarta. The event, themed “Innovation Towards a Golden Indonesia: The Interconnection of Quality Education, Employment, and Green Industry,” brought together key stakeholders including representatives from the World Economic Forum and LinkedIn to discuss critical issues in sustainable development. As a key academic institution working closely with Bappenas, the Center engaged in vital discussions on accelerating green industry, circular economy policies, supply chain transformation, and addressing challenges in the labor sector due to digital disruption. The conference highlighted innovative approaches to creating sustainable jobs through education and explored how green finance can support small and medium enterprises (SMEs), particularly in the agricultural sector. This participation strengthened the Center’s position as a vital contributor to Indonesia’s SDGs implementation framework, showcasing the powerful intersection of academic expertise with national development priorities.
