The webinar “Dealing with Burnout: Mindful Self-Care in Islamic Perspective” is a significant initiative aimed at addressing the challenges of burnout by integrating mindful self-care practices rooted in Islamic teachings. Held on November 24, 2023, at Universitas YARSI via online Zoom Meeting, this event featured Endang Fourianalistyawati, M.Psi. Psikolog., Ph.D, as the keynote speaker. The webinar was specifically designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of burnout, including its symptoms, stages, and causes, such as work overload and lack of support.

By exploring burnout from an Islamic perspective, participants gained insights into the importance of balance, well-being, and spiritual resilience. The webinar also introduced practical strategies for overcoming burnout through mindful self-care practices, such as regular prayer, reflection, and reliance on God. The event concluded with a hands-on session where participants learned exercises to incorporate mindful self-care into their daily routines. This webinar aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, by promoting mental health, and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by fostering workplace well-being and preventing burnout in professional environments.
