Anti-discrimination policies

YARSI University has a policy for the prevention of sexual violence on campus. This policy was implemented with the establishment of the YARSI University Family Welfare Service Center (PPKS), which was launched in December 2018. The establishment of the PPKS Institute was an implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between YARSI University, the PPAPP (Child Protection and Population Control Empowerment) Office, and the BKKBN (National Population and Family Planning Agency).

PPKS is a center for communication, counseling information, and referrals with the scope of Reproductive Health activities. The principles of YARSI University PPKS services are the absence of stigmatization and discrimination, guaranteed confidentiality, service readiness, client orientation, partnerships, volunteerism, evaluation and media communication, information, and education. PPKS provides counseling, education, and assistance for the academic community and the surrounding community who want to share complaints and life problems without giving them negative stigma (including those who have experienced discrimination and sexuality).
