320 Students of YARSI University Conduct Thematic Community Service on Stunting in 23 Sub-Districts of South Jakarta

On November 4, 2024, YARSI University Jakarta gained attention in an article published by ipol.id. The article reported that the South Jakarta Administration Government has welcomed 320 YARSI University students to carry out a Thematic Community Service Program (KKN) focused on stunting in 23 sub-districts across 10 districts within South Jakarta. This KKN program aims to address the issue of stunting, a chronic nutritional problem that affects children’s growth and development. The program is expected to have a positive impact on stunting prevention efforts.

Ali Murtadho, the Secretary of South Jakarta Administration, emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government, academic institutions, NGOs, and local communities in tackling this issue. The Thematic KKN on Stunting will run for two months, from November to December 2024. This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2, which aims to end hunger, achieve food security, improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture. By focusing on stunting prevention, the program represents a concrete step toward addressing nutritional problems in Indonesia and supports the achievement of SDGs at the local level.
